PS.  I NEVER turn on Hibernation.  The machine is doing it on its own.

If you are on an old machine there is an Intel chip patch to deal with a problem with the variable speed/power controls.

Lastly... Hibernation is a horrible pain in the proverbial and is the first thing I turn off.
