Job's comforters <g>! - but BT *stuff* ain't bad - it's their *support* that's lousy! and anyway I need a BT line to get broadband where I am. Yes Skype works OK but I really wanted to try and get all calls on one set of phones and that's what BT offers (plus unlimited calls for £8.95 a month). Truth to tell I don't actually *need* any of it - our BT call charges are less that £30 a quarter (and calls on our three mobile phones don't total £15 a year). -- --Due to some hanky panky by O2 I just had to buy a new sim card for one of them, but after a bit of a row they agreed to tranfer the unused £14.85 from the expired one, plus a second £2.50 for re 'registering' provided I answered a few questions - the best was "do you usually upgrade your phone: once a year, or more often?" - answer "every 10 years or less often" <vbg> p.s I did a quick check and in the UK Tesco seem to have the best deal for occasional UK-only usage.
