Eye candy and the sort of UI changes you are referring to are different things. Whether you have the Vista interface turned down to a Windows 2000 level or you are using the full Aero Glass son et lumiere, the same buttons and options are in the same places AFAIK, and you go to the same places on the menus to configure the same things. It's just that will either look like Windows 2000 or all nice and transparent and the like. If you switch to say Ubuntu, okay it looks different but c'mon, from a pure UI standpoint, my 2 year old could probably figure out how to open and close windows and run applications off the menu. The real issue is that Linux just does most things in the realm of setup and configuration and so on differently - which may indeed be a good a thing. -- Alan Bourke [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- http://www.fastmail.fm - Send your email first class _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
