Please I beg you, stop. I can't take it!

First, I wanted Zidane to score the winning goal
seconds from the final whistle - a true sporting
legend. Then I thought Zidane was a little thug
headbutting an innocent opposing player.

After that he became a average Joe defending an
alleged racial slur on him, which was swiftly denied
by Materazzi. I changed my mind about Zidane again
when many pointed out he should have taken the mild
insult as part of Italian gamesmanship tactics (see my
comments on Rooney about that subject).

I switched back yesterday(?) when lip readers stated
the degree of insult against his ethic identity, his
mother and family. Enough to make anybody snap.

Now the foolish head butt could be nothing more than a
reaction to a sarcastic comment about his wife and her
lover! My head is spinning; legend or hot-head?

Now I have to read the list tomorrow out the latest
conspiracy theory and jump ship again. Please, think
of the children :-)
