That's a great question. I'm not really sure. I don't follow high
finance all that closely, just turn my retirement monies over to a pro
and ask them not to lose them all. I buy a few stocks - Apple, RedHat,
Novell just to read the annual reports.

Investors are unsatisfied with the company. I think that's the reason
MSFT came out with the first dividend. But I'm not really sure of the
reasons. They'll pay the latest $375 M EU fine out of petty cash,
after all...
