Chet, I've modded the drop calendar so you can specify any date in the past as a substitute fro the VFP blank date
www.replacement-software.co.uk/vfp/VFP_Calendar.zip On the example form you will see the property of the activeX "dBlank_Date_Substitute" bound to a textbox and this can be changed on the fly or by setting the ActiveX property programatically.
