So in the sixties you were a chicken and now you're a hawk?

Hi Helio!

Oh, you *don't* realize your questions are irrelevant. Someone else already said this but you may have had your ears covered at the time: "The Viet Cong did NOT bomb New York".

You know I was in the Air Force, I told you that in response to one of your many questions, yet now you troll the chicken/hawk nonsense? My service was in the time frame 1963 - 1967. People volunteer to be in the Air Force, it was volunteer even during Vietnam. I joined the Air Force at 18 with little understanding of Vietnam, and rethought it after my service was over at age 22.

911 is what makes this *much* different, from Vietnam and also from our ideas of "war" in general. Mature thinkers eventually realize that utopian ideas are just that, utopian.

Vietnam was Lyndon Johnson and cronies being greedy idiots. Had Kennedy lived there would have been no Vietnam, a number of people believe this is *why* Kennedy died as he did. The war on terror is World War Three.

Regards,

Pete

No.

No. You do realize your questions are irrelevant.
