ways to squeeze more money out of its customer base since it can't grow any more than 97-98%. No need to work on quality when you
are a monopoly. You can imagine what a car would be like if GM had a 97% monopoly.
Some of us remember what GM (and Ford, and Chrysler) cars were like when
the had only an 85% market share. :)
I believe that's when Japan Inc. came in and ate their lunch.
There are a lot similarities between the execs in Detroit in the 70s and
80s and the execs in Redmond these days.
