Dave wrote a memo substitute (check Ed's downloads) that I used to get rid of memo fields. I display the text in an edit box with RTF and add/edit with a popup form in an plain edit box, but all the text is saved in a DBF. Works real nice, thanks Dave. HTH, Kent
