I don't know any vegans without serious mental problems, with the exception of my Hindu friends.
Most vegans have serious psychological disorders, possibly caused by childhood trauma or sexual abuse. Most are trying to cleans their body of something "unclean". Many will purge and/or cut themselves to make the pain go away. In addition, they starve their bodies of protein, causing the body to take it from muscle. A low protein diet starves the brain of vital nutrients and exacerbates their mental disease.
