Meat does not contain a fraction of the protein of tofu or soya (meat substitutes). Meat also contains far more fat than ether of them. Many studies have found vegans/vegetarians to be healthier than meat eaters. It makes sense, when we eat more fruit and vegetables than meat eaters, eat less fat than meat eaters, and generally have a healthier lifestyle than meat eaters due to our diet. I would say that I am fitter on any scale you care to mention of someone else of my age. I am careful about what I eat and drink, and cycle on a regular basis (I rode 191 miles on Saturday alone).
