Hi all,
I'm about to start a conversion of an application (of mine) from
plain VFP9 to VFP9 with a MySQL backend. I've just installed MySQL 5.0.22
(Windows version) on my dev machine, but in production there will be Linux
as server OS.
It's my first time with MySQL (and client/server in general). I'm
sure I'll have questions in the next future, but for now I'm interested in
tips/advices to help me in the data conversion phase. Is LOAD DATA INFILE my
friend here? And what is the best way to prepare the proper text file from
VFP? I guess COPY TO, but are some clauses better suited than other?
