I need to move quickly back to PA from Michigan. I've got enough stuff for a decent sized pickup truck, but I've only got a small car without a trailer hitch. My challenge: how do I get all of my stuff (again, could fit in a pick probably) back to PA in the most affordable way?

In case you haven't already checked, do some research on U-Haul. I'm pretty sure they have ways to attach their trailers to cars without the standard hitch. But if you have a small car/older car, you may not want to trust its ability to pull a trailer cross-country (but smaller trailers don't really cause a lot of drag - the main thing to check would be your brakes). So, you could potentially get a small truck from U-haul, with a towing attachment to tow your car behind.

So get some quotes from U-Haul and see how things stack up with shipping your stuff via other means.
