Hi, I've only recently started making much use of cursoradapters (but some people on this list know <s> I've been using remote views for a long time). Seems to me you should set up a cursor adapter for each grid, and thereby limit the numbers of records you are pulling across >I need these temporary tables because ... Aren't cursoradapter cursors pretty much temporary tables anyway?
