We have a similar situation here.  There's plenty of clients running
the DOS version of our app.  In theory we've stopped development &
support (support fees gladly accepted!).  However, these old DOS apps
seem to just keep on ticking over.  I doubt we could cope if everyone
upgraded to Windows.

With DOS if there's a bug you can be sure it's in your code.  But with
Windows there's so many variables.  We had a client the other day who
could only print if they connected to the internet (dial-up).  Turned
out to be a shared printer problem, no IP address=no printing through
a local share.  Change to LPT1, sorted.
