Do a simple web app for him and have him tack onto these guys:

You can almost generate a web app for him using WebMaxPortal
Framework for ASP 3.0 if you wanted to do something fairly simple
(caveat: must be well versed in ASP 3.0 using vbscript) and very low
cost.
