But it's not so 'modest'. That's (boycotting vista) been my plan for a long time. Since, oh, Cairo days. <rof'lmao>
I miss Cairo. Now THERE was an OS! "That's the only way we have to let Microsoft know Vista is an overhyped, late, and pointless update to XP - a perfectly fine operating system." And there's where we disagree, too. I'm running XP and Tiger and Kubuntu and Fedora and... XP is just nothing special. There's another way to let Microsoft know that Vista is wrong-headed. Buy a Mac. Buy a ThinkPad with SuSE installed. Buy a machine without the Microsoft Tax. No sales are bad, but lost sales are worse - it tells the hardware vendors there is a demand out there. -- Ted Roche Ted Roche & Associates, LLC http://www.tedroche.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
