RoR is a web app framework that has a lot of the boring stuff needed
to create a dynamic web app built-in. Stuff like accessing data. ;-)
I've seen RoR as well as several Python web frameworks, such as
Django and TurboGears, and they all look remarkably similar: specify
a few things, and it spits out a framework. You then modify the
framework classes to create your custom behaviors.
