I'm not disagreeing - just saying that if nothing is done, the heavy-handed folks will lay their case down and people wouldn't be able to argue it. Today we deal with hundreds of spams, but if nothing is done about it, that number could grow exponentially, and then we'll be so hungry for a solution that we'll accept anything. We've got to come up with specific solutions for specific problems before it gets to the point where only total control will work.
