I recently made 72,000 and it didnt even cover the expenses of being on the
road..
I have some friends that make about 40K between both and have two kids.
THey have a few toy's, but nothing to spare...

Subject: [OT] What is the real poverty line?
Hi Everybody!
Forget families of three, dammit, the real households today are one or
two. If
two, one of them is most likely a child, at least around here.
What is the real threshold of poverty? I asked my CPA and she said $60,000
in
Sarasota, where housing is a little high and yet if you live out in the
sticks you have huge commuting costs. Below $60K you are poor. Comments?
Regards,
Pete
