The use of SysInternals File Monitor to log what else touches files when a
process is happening. These days you need to use Process Monitor

I was getting several errors during a PACK about a file of that name already
exist. Then the user didn't have a table anymore.  That is when I started
using SysInternals to find what other programs touched the files when the
program modified them.
