I've got one of these:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/EasyCAP-Video-Audio-Capture-Card/dp/B0011N9QNC/ref=tag_stp_s2_edpp_url

Cheap and cheerful, but seems to work fine. Hard to tell with old VHS
tapes though...
£5.99 = approx 10 USD

I'm trying to convert a video from my (now deceased) great uncles
wedding anniversary shot in Ireland in the 90s.
The video breaks up really bad in places.

It's the only VHS tape I have left in my collection!
