Maybe your software is a bit newer. I noticed that there is another Android version available for the phone coming out soon. Maybe the default one I have will get better (it is a HTC MyTouch 4G). Another nit: My other music devices let me switch listening modes on-the-fly. I love listening in random mode -- rock, opera, indie, folk, classical, alt-country, swing -- I just never know what is coming next. If something catches my ear, I like to switch to that album or performer to hear more. Then I go back to "random." With the default program, when I turn off "random" the next song is alphabetical again... To switch modes, I need to perform about 107 steps to switch modes (OK, maybe a bit fewer), and the current song stops. Arrrrrggggghhhhhhhh! --------------------- Thanks, all -- I have downloaded a couple of them to try out. As always, better to have some ideas from folks I trust than groping around.
