I don't know how to tabulate the number who don't believe but I seriously doubt it is "many". God has nothing to do with the subject matter. In fact I doubt that he guides all living and non-living things on a continuing basis. To me that is a real stretch. Atoms behave randomly but in aggregate define life, physics, etc. If there is a God, he simply defined matter and then spun it off to behave according to the laws of matter whatever that is. So evolution is a natural outcome of that idea.

But this one I agree with 100% http://www.nytimes.com/2011/08/29/opinion/republicans-against-science.html?_r=1&nl=todaysheadlines&emc=tha212 Two front runners, Rick Perry and Mitt Romney, in the Republican party are turning against science and intellectual thinking. They are claiming evolution is only a theory and other highly intelligent people doubt it. Also they claim there is no global warming. Krugman claims that only 35% of Iowans believe evolution and 21% in global warming. So these weak-needed Republicans are agreeing with them. --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- multipart/alternative text/plain (text body -- kept) text/html --- [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/BF9601F0BCA142A49FF7E09E933373B5@dual ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
