Enacting a law the would blindly make abortion a crime would result in 
too many injustices.  Each case must be decided on its own merits 
considering all the facts and repercussions of various alternatives.

I abhor abortion, and believe this problem can be better address using 
education, counselling, and alternative, live adoptions.  Perhaps in the 
near future a fetas can be carried to term within an artificial 
environment, and then placed with a suitable mother by adoption, for 
example.
