I've gone through several upgrades of Ubuntu and My wife has gone
through at lease one upgrade of the Mac. They changed some things here
and there but you could always change them back. None of these were as
major as the way they changed from Windows version to version. I sit
down at a Vista or Windows 7 machine and I have to look all over for
stuff. I don't use the newer Office applications mainly for health
reasons. It is impossible to find something that was always there.
Looks like Windows 8 is going to fix all that by moving it all around
one last time.

Reminds me of the time I went to check out a rental car and the window
controls were between the seats. I had to open the door to check out.

Am I just being old fashioned or is it important to change the user
experience every version?

Jeff
