It took me several days of working with Cassandra until I could wrap my
head around it. I have been working with data in relational sets for so long
that the notion of working with a non-relational database seemed like reading
Chinese. But I'm happy to say that I picked it up much faster than I would have
become fluent in Chinese!
Non-relational data is not better or worse than relational - it's
simply solving a different type of problem with a different approach.
