Fred had a good intuition. Possible scenarios when you issue "go TOP":
- no index order set then you should be on RECNO() = 1 unless it is deleted the will be = 2 unless deleted and so on - index order set, whatever is its expression, then RECNO() depends on that order The fact that your flag ACTIVE is .f. depends simply on your data.
