I would forget about fighting WiFi unless you have to, and go for powerline networking (like these http://www.netgear.com/home/products/powerline-and-coax/default.aspx)
I recently moved my router from the top floor where my wife works down to where the phone line comes in, and I run a pair of BT powerline adaptors to get her connected upstairs. Best thing I ever bought. Screw WiFi. -- Alan Bourke alanpbourke (at) fastmail (dot) fm _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
