Wow! What a blast from the past! I was an early Valentina user, back in
the late 90s! It was the backend database for the first iteration of the
leafe.com site. I filed more than my share of bug reports back then. I only
switched to MySQL when they dropped their free version and I was too cheap to
pay for it! Well, that and I wanted the fulltext search that MySQL had.
Back then Ruslan (the creator of Valentina) didn't have the means to
run a mailing list, so I created and ran one for him - that was a couple of
years before I started ProFox! I still maintain a mirrored archive of their
current mailing list - you can search it at
