I would not call the way I treat Dabo as "personal" at all. I publicly
promote it; I give talks at conferences on it, and I run mailing lists
discussing it in detail.

Why do you keep insisting on reading meaning into what I've written
instead of reading what I've written?
I criticized your characterization of someone who makes public displays
of something as "personal". The fact that we even know about his beliefs
clearly shows that this is a public thing to him, not a personal one.
Proselytizing is a public act, not a personal one.
per•son•al (adj): of or concerning one's private life, relationships, and
emotions rather than matters connected with one's public or professional
career. E.g.: the book describes his acting career and gives little information
about his personal life.
