        OK, for those who have trouble reading what was actually written 
instead of what they want to see:

You said:

Then I replied:
"Tebow is a perfect example of someone who makes their faith public, not 
private. If you want to believe in something and use it to guide your life, so 
be it. But constantly blabbing about it and making public displays means that 
you are trying to broadcast your beliefs for everyone to see. You're praying to 
your fellow man instead of to your god."

        My only complaint was characterizing a public display of faith as 
"personal".

        To contrast, most couples consider their sex life personal. If I asked 
you the last time you and your wife had sex, you would probably reply with 
something like "It's none of your business - that's persona". But if you 
started wearing "I got laid last night!" markers under your eyes, or made some 
suggestive motion, or otherwise broadcast these personal items, they are 
public, not personal.

        Keep your faith personal. Don't be a dick and wave it in everyone's 
face.
