I have VFP data being accessed by a VFP COM object via a UNC path. This works great for several customers in an environment under our control. Last week something went strange with a specific path \\server\share\33259\pcplus115\data\ckinfo.dbf
This file returns that there was an error reading file When I change the directory to: \\server\share\88888\pcplus115\data\ckinfo.dbf Everything works. User has access to the data through a VFP executable and sees no problems. It's specific to the COM object. Has anyone any idea why this is failing? Permissions haven't changed on any files. We've hacked it to get the customer working for the weekend. We'll be doing some test as soon as I get some more ideas. _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
