We have had trouble now and then like that. I have no idea why it works sometimes and not others, however, we have always been able to get it to work by mapping the location to a letter.

This works great for several customers in an environment under our control. Last week something went strange with a specific path \\server\share\33259\pcplus115\data\ckinfo.dbf This file returns that there was an error reading file When I change the directory to: \\server\share\88888\pcplus115\data\ckinfo.dbf Everything works. User has access to the data through a VFP executable and sees no problems. It's specific to the COM object. Has anyone any idea why this is failing? Permissions haven't changed on any files. We've hacked it to get the customer working for the weekend. We'll be doing some test as soon as I get some more ideas.
