That's what I hope to do. The views are identical but sorted differently.

When you change the source table/cursor/view for a grid, it loses all 
its brains in regard to columns, etc.  So, before you change, you have 
to clear the .ControlSource, make the switch, and then re-set the 
.Controlsource afterward.

This, of course, assumes the field/column names are all the same!  <g>
