The UPSs had an "Alarm Off" switch.  Too bad the customer didn't have one
of those. ;)

No, actually they were quite grateful we eliminated the problem.  Until
they created their next one of running unshielded twisted pair in the
ceilings right over top of the light fixture balasts.  Then they tried to
have runs over 700' long.  Sheesh, some never learn.
