At first glance, I had a similar feeling. However, I could see where it might work for people who are already at the point of being limited in their mobility. It might be difficult for someone who is morbidly obese to use one though, and for very old people. I guess that's what the hoverround is for.
I guess Honda has enough R&D money to be able to play with this kind of stuff though.
