     Agreed. I mean - yes - there are good examples where a device like 
this could be extremely helpful. Its somewhat similar to the Segway as 
you mentioned below. Someone like a Mall Cop - like in that goofy movie 
- could use a device like this to constantly patrol a very large mall. 
Another example - which I saw in person - is there are workers at the 
Disney parks in Florida that use them. And, for workers that have to 
constantly move around for their job - the parks are rather Large places 
to cover!

     Actually - I think it was. But, again - its a success for those 
specific occasions where the device makes sense. For the Honda thing - 
only time will tell. I actually saw these high school/college students 
at a Maker Faire in NYC last Sept. that actually worked on their Own 
version of one as a school project! Their's looked VERY Clunky - but, of 
course - it was a WIP.
