Our software is certified by Surescripts to allow doctors to transmit 
prescriptions. They have a very secure encryption
requirement and also they require all communication to go through a fixed 
(static) IP address with SSL certificate. If
they did not require that, I would use Webfaction for our server.

Depending on your needs - DDNS can get around the need for a static IP.
