Sytze,
Don't do it..... it will never work..... use a proper cloud service if you want
to share files, or a remote server.

it may LOOK like it works but as far as I know Dropbox use a "diff" methodology
for file updates which doesn't hold well with VFP file/record locking
methodology!

I'm preparing to install a system with Ministry of Mines in Afghanistan Can you
imagine the horror if I arrived there with a broken laptop So, I copied my VFP
system and the system I have developed for them into Dropbox This way, the
worst that can happen is I borrow a pc and download all from dropbox

When I did this, I noticed I can log into my Dropbox folder and actually run
the software.

So I checked with Dropbox to see if I can share this folder with other people,
and have a "Cloud application"
In the Q and A sections, I can only find reference that I can't create such a
folder in the public area Has anyone had any dealings with this ?

I have used the public area on many occasions to send people a link to download
an update or other file, and the system has been extremely useful.
