I'm not worried about email since the users don't use email.  I'm worried about
blocking malware from coming in and preventing users from surfing non
work-related sites.

most web filtering software is just as hopeless as email filtering. If it is
to eliminate the spam and so on, it ends up eliminating real emails. Ive had
people subscribe to our training website thru gmail because they know they
will never get thru their company filter - often barracuda. Is it really
going to harm you if you get 100 spam emails a day that go to your junk
folder where you can quickly scan for real stuff?

I agree - but, from an employee stand point at a co. that uses it - and, it
blocks us from EVERYTHING. Its Insane. You go to a website - even an MSN
forum for help with programming stuff - and you are blocked. Its blocks
almost ALL Video stuff (or - again - it may just be the way that the place
set it up at where I work) and - so many other things - can't go to Sports,
or Cars, or Games related sites. Hell - you can Barely get to ANYTHING at
where I work. So - from MY stand point - I hate it! But, again =- it could
be the way that THEY set it up - on purpose to block us from all those
things. But - at least I can get to GOOGLE - but, forget searching Images -
BLOCKED!!!

:-(
