Hey - ---- For the second time in as many attempts, I have stopped the process of buying software upgrades. Why? A "online delivery fee" included. The example this morning: Parallels. I have ignored for a while the "opportunity" to upgrade it. I got a notice for an offer I thought was reasonable price ($30), so I said "Sure, why not?" I followed the link, and was on the "checkout" screen on their site. There it was: Extended Download Service: $6.99. I muttered a few expletives, and said "F this."
I took the time to look for some feedback mechanism to tell them what I think of this, but the only option seemed to join their forum. I didn't bother. Opinions?
