Sorry...ready fire aim...

I mentioned the AV because I was using AVAST and they updated
(automatically) one night to a new version that had a sandbox built in.
All of a sudden, none of my VFP apps would run on the workstations that
AVAST had updated...the apps were all being sandboxed and the end users
were not thrilled.

OS, even the same versions, can update at different times. If you have
all three workstations set to update automatically, it doesn't mean that
they are all in sync with each other (with regards to the OS updates.) I
wouldn't be surprised if MSoft issued an update that broke an older
functionality.

Does your FTP app have a logging function so you can trace where it is
gagging?

All workstations use same AV... (Symantec Endpoint). Didn't think of
this one. With the users in that area I would be remiss if I shut off
the AV... So maybe the local copy of this machines AV someway flagged
something thus preventing the download? Hmmm...

All intranet - no firewall. Same OS (XP SP3), ISPis n/a.

Thanks though..
