I used 2-books on php & mysql from larry ullman and 1-book from andy harris and I did okay so now I'm taking the on-line class open source software and they have me installing java, xampp (already had it), and netbeans. The class projects will be on a flash drive and I have to configure Apache to it. I have a sony camera, and a sony camcorder which plug in and out as needed so my flash drive may change identity... oh the pain Again .. thanks you guys
