Some other developers and I wrote an app years ago that did some pretty intensive Outlook automation including custom Outlook templates and invoking VFP COM objects from within Outlook via VBA. I've also written event sink COM objects (again in VFP) and registered them (via VBS) within an Exchange server. In some MS-centric organizations, this is the only way to automate mail processing. I do not think that you can ASSuME that IMAP nor POP nor SMTP is available from an Exchange server. I think you can lock it down to being MAPI only. _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
