Frank:  I have been typing on a keyboard all of my adult life.  During 
the 90's I started to develop pain in my hands and wrists.  It may have 
been the beginnings of carpal tunnel.  I went with a wave keyboard and 
have used them ever since.  The pain went away right away and never came 
back.  My favorite is the wave from logitech.  It is wireless and the 
mouse is wireless.

I'm not a fan of the keyboards that split the left and right keys with a 
gap, however.
