There are too many cooks in this kitchen.

In that case set up his email account on another computer. If that works,
then there is someone wrong with his PC.

Another thing to watch out for is a corrupted email message. It stays in the
queue and won't let any other messages get through. I use OE to download
messages from my ISP (optonline.net). If it stops receiving messages, I can
go to my ISP web site and see my messages there. I then delete the corrupted
message.

If I try to view his website from his computer, it says "cant find". I can
reach it from my home computer, so it looks like his business provider is
some how blocking the site. I can't ping it with the IP address either.

You don't have to open any ports on a router unless you are doing DMZ or
port forwarding neither of which I use and port 25 still works.

All of a sudden my client's pop3 isn't working, and client is losing his
mind.

I changed the router to open up a users port 25 for a new user on the
system, and coincidentally his incoming email doesn't work.

So I set his router back to the way it was, even though I've never blocked
Pop3 ever, and it still doesn't work.

What are some things that can affect pop3?
He says he can get the email when
he takes his laptop home, but not at the office.
