So - how U folks doing?
Me - I'm here on Long Island - where things were hit REALLY Bad! Lucky
for me - I'm Inland from the Ocean. No real home damage - although -
I've been around LOT of the Island since the storm hit - visiting in
East Northport - and then to Freeport - and have seen MAJOR Devastation!
Actually - my Mother-In-Law is on the Channels in Freeport - where - for
many, MANY People - the Ocean came Swooping in right into the 1st Floor
of their house as it did w/my MIL.
For me - I had NO POWER from Mon afternoon until Friday - when the power
got turned back on. For me, the withdrawals of having NO Net access -
much less the ability to work at my computer - its like withdrawals like
an alcoholic! OK - so, maybe I am exaggerating - but, I am sure SOME of
U can relate. Anyway - just thought I would start this thread to see how
folks are Doing!
I especially want to check in on Lew & Bill - since they are on this
list - and I know they are located near me - in places that MAY have
gotten hit worse than ME!
So - guys - Feel free to Chime in (L&B)!
