Don't know to be honest. But it's free if you install it today. :-)

Seriously, if you *really* need to recover data you may just have to spend the 
money and send the drive to a professional data recovery service.

Hey Richard,

Thank you SO MUCH for thinking about me & my problem. To be honest - the 
problem has still not been resolved. It was suggested I bring it to Best Buy 
and let one of the Geeks look at it - but, I have yet to do that. It was also 
suggested to put it into the Freezer. But, then, people warned I have to worry 
about moisture occurring. However, I would have no control over moisture 
occurring - and AFAIK - nothing I can do IF IT actually occurs. So - I haven't 
even tried that trick yet.

Lastly - for this SW tool - problem is - if the BIOS won't even see the Drive - 
how can this tool possibly see it??? Not that I want to completely dump on your 
suggestion - I will still try it - as I already did download the program.
