He was filming.
At the very end of the video, which was deleted for obvious reasons, he
trips over the top of the escalator, because he's riding it backwards,
and then tumbles head-over-heels all the way down the moving escalator.
It takes a while because he's rolling down, but the stairs are moving
up.
The camera, a high-quality American-made item, stays intact and records
every scream from the horrified
Rackers, as well as the occasional thump from near by.
He's ok, though.
